Splunk Docker Login Driver Error - "strconv.ParseBool: parsing \"\": invalid syntax""

On startup the docker engine throws docker:

 

 

 

Error response from daemon: failed to initialize logging driver: strconv.ParseBool: parsing "": invalid syntax.

 

 

 

Options being passed:
