Hi, I installed Splunk Enteprise and am running it locally, for testing purposes i would like to create two Indexers (both locally). Is it possible to achieve this, if so how ?
not sure why would you like to do so. there are some answers here about installing 2 forwarders on the same host heres an example: https://answers.splunk.com/answers/206173/is-it-possible-to-install-multiple-universal-forwa.html i cant find the latest one which i think was very detailed but i am positive you can find it. again, what is your test about? hope it helps
I am writing a load balancer for writing to Indexers and so want to set up indexers locally to test it. Aren't Indexers different from forwarders ?
