Why is the install app from file not available in Splunk Cloud instance?

Hi Community,

I am looking for Install APP from file option under APPs section in Splunk Cloud but I couldn't find the option. Why it is not available in Splunk Cloud? Is there any other way to install the APP in to Splunk cloud? Please suggest!

at least I have that when I have sc_admin role. Probably you haven't suitable role on Splunk Cloud instance.

Yes, User has sc_admin role even though can't see the option.

And this is Victoria experience not a classic? You could see it from "Support & Service -> About"

It is a classic experience.

I suppose that this the reason why you can’t install apps by yourself. You should use support tickets and/or splunkbase on classic. In Victoria you could do most installations by yourself.
