View changes of app(equivalent to local folder on server), in the GUI

Hi!
Is there a good way of viewing changes that has been made to a default app in the GUI? If one were to have server-access that would be easy by just checking the local folder of the app.
But is there an app or a way of viewing changes that has been made in the GUI? Other than the obvious of knowing which are changes and which are default.
