driver.quit() not working in AppD Synthetic Job

Below is a snippet of code that is working locally, but not in AppD. The specific line is `driver.quit()`

try:
    time.sleep(1)
    elementName = '//*[@id="ClaimSearch:ClaimSearchScreen:_msgs"]'
    WebDriverWait(driver,30).until(EC.element_to_be_clickable((By.XPATH, "" + elementName + "")))
    time.sleep(1)
    driver.quit()
except:
    print("Did not see a Message")

Continue with script...

Is there a different way to quit?

I resolve the issue by moving the code outside of a try/except section and also added  quit() after  driver.quit()
