Need to setup the alert when the Appagent/Application went down

I want to setup an alert when the application went down. I am using the App agent startup parameters in the jvm startup script . Is there anyway to monitor the status of the application and generate the alert if it goes down.

Teja,

You can setup health rule in the controller and proactively monitor it.Please go through docs below that has the info on the same.

Thank you . I set it up as  if App Availability is less than 1 % , to trigger alert and monitor for every 2 min.

Thanks for sharing the documentation
