How can we setup alerts based on the process status in the server?

I would like to setup the alerts based upon the process running status in a server.

We had a couple of process(services) which are running inside a server. To track the status of those process, I would like to need to setup alerts. 

Appreciate if anyone share the possibilities. Thanks in advance.
