Splunk AppDynamics

Best way to self monitor appdynamics

Hi All,

I'm looking for the best way to monitor my Appdynamics infrastructure itself (performance, availability...)

We have a 2 controllers in cluster, 3 service events, 1 EUM,
an entreprise console and 3 DB collector.

All of this on premise.

Has anyone done this before?

Thanks for your ideas 🙂

François

Found there is a healthcheck available.

http://<event-server>/healthcheck?pretty=true

Parsing the output and checking if

"healthy" : (!= true)

Hi @Santo.Perri,

Just to confirm, does that help you answer your original question?

Hi @Santo.Perri,

What exactly are you trying to monitor? I can pass this along and see what info I can find for you. Are you SaaS or on-prem?
