Have a requirement:
When error-checker in source code check out expect error need send a email to notify us.

Maybe I can use custom events: send a post request with some paramers(according custom events document)

But I think the way is not safety:
1st: the post request is "http" not "https"
2ed: the request will include account and password (not security)

Could have other way able to implement this reqirment?

Thanks

attach to custom events template:

curl -X POST --user user1@customer1:secret 'http://demo.appdynamics.com/controller/rest/applications/5/events?severity=INFO&summary=test1&eventtype=CUSTOM&customeventtype=mycustomevent&propertynames=key1&propertynames=key2&propertyvalues=value1&propertyvalues=value'

but -user  user1@customer1:secret

 user1 :  what's mean

 custimer1:  account . right?

 secret: password  . right?

And I only know two data: account of login  and password

Hi Agera,

The user1 can be replaced by the username where you login into the controller UI. Please find more details in below docs

Thanks,

Yogesh
