If the “Share” permission in Dashboard under “Administration” section is not visible, follow the steps in resolution section.

Resolution:

We need to add “authz.dashboard.share.enabled” property in the account settings and set the value to True.

SaaS Environment:

If you are using a SaaS controller please reach out to AppDynamics support to enable this flag.

On-Prem Environment:

1. Login to <controllerURL>/controller/admin.jsp

2. Use root@system and controller root password for login

3. In Account Settings, under Account & Licenses edit the account name (usually customer1 for On-PRem) and add a new property authz.dashboard.share.enabled and set it to ‘true’.

4. Click Save button. Once done you should see the licenses as below.
