Saved Search not found in app?

I'm using django and javascript to build a Splunk app. I'm having a problem where I create a saved search in the context of my app, set the permissions to everyone read and write, and modified my app to use
{% savedsearchmanager %}
id="name_of_this_manager"
searchname="Name of Saved Search"
app="search" %}

My saved search is supposed to run every 6 hours, however when I try to view its recent jobs, nothing shows up. When I run my saved search though, I get the results I want.

My app however, gives me a warning stating that it can't find the name of my saved search. All of this is done on my local machine.

Any clues as to why my app isn't picking up the saved search? Thanks!

Nvm figured it out. Had to change the permissions to global.
