Splunk Observability Cloud latest releases:
- Synthetic Monitoring - Audit Logs: we’ve introduced the ability for users to be able to capture detailed history of any changes made to the Synthetics platform (e.g. any resources managed by Synthetics API) and export such information. Now users can track and record every change within the environment, maintain detailed logs of all activity for regulatory and compliance needs, and quickly identify root cause of performance issues or failures by reviewing historical changes and actions. - Synthetic Monitoring - Bulk pause, play, delete tests (UI and API): With this release users can now play, pause, and delete a group of synthetic tests at once via UI or API calls. Additionally, users can now multi-select tests on the homepage and complete the bulk action. This helps teams save time and effort during test cleanup and other scenarios dealing with repetitive actions over a large volume of test. Learn more.
- Observability Cloud Homepage UI Update: Teams landing page updates for curated APM views: Easily see your Splunk APM services, dashboards, top alerts, and team members of every team you are part of and join teams directly on the homepage. Simply navigate to your Home page to view the teams you’re a member of, for an overview of your APM services, top alerts, and dashboards. Not yet part of a team? Easily preview potential teams by selecting “view all teams” to join teams you’re not yet a member. Learn more
- GDI Wizard Updates for GCP: this latest release streamlines the setup of GCP integrations in Splunk Observability Cloud through an instructional wizard. This new wizard simplifies the process, making it more intuitive and user-friendly. It also provides an additional authentication option - Workload Identity Federation. Learn more
- Tags and Issue Detection for Detectors: we’ve refreshed the Detectors Inventory page to make managing the detectors fleet easier and more efficient. With this update, users can now tag detectors for better organization, quickly identify if a detector is impacted by archived metrics or has exceeded the MTS limit and gain more context at a glance. Regional Expansion
- APM Always-On Profiling for GCP: this release now extends Always-On Profiling in Splunk Observability Cloud via Splunk APM for Google Cloud Platform (GCP) realms. Learn more.
- Archived Metrics – GCP: Archived Metrics, which allows you to route metric data into a low-cost cold storage, is now available for customers deployed on GCP. With Archived Metrics, customers can have more control over their monitoring costs and optimize their metrics volume, for more cost-effective data management. Learn more
