I have a summary index to run every 24 hours, but the data does not get refreshed. How can I automatically clean the old index?

I want to load the data every 2 weeks, but clean out the old data before running the summary index again?

That's not the way Splunk is supposed to work. Old data is kept until it ages out so it can searched for again some day. Data can be "deleted", but it's not an automatic process.

You may want to consider using a KV Store to hold your summary index data. They are designed to be completely replaced.
