Where do I extract the pdfserver.tar.gz now that I have downloaded it from Splunkbase

Under Linux Splunk 4.1, I want to install the PDF Report Server and have downloaded the app file from Splunkbase. Where should the pdfserver.tar.gz file be extracted?

Note that if you add the pdserverapp from within the product ui, it is unpacked at the correct location for you.

Extract the tar file in $SPLUNK_HOME/etc/apps directory

A new pdfserver directory will be created.
