Upgrade Path from 7.1.3 to 8.1.1

@elliscj  and I will be upgrading Splunk Enterprise from 7.1.3 to 8.1.1.  The last time we did an upgrade, we had an onsite 'Splunker' , and she took care of our upgrade for us.  Does anyone have the path on how to upgrade from 7.1.3 to 8.1.1?  Any gotcha's that we should be aware of?   Any advice to give us?

Schedule searches wont trigger during the time of upgrade. You might want to notify to users and find the least impacting window for the upgrade.
