How to add an indexing server to a separate master Splunk license server?

I set up an indexing server as a local master server.

I'd like to add it to a separate master Splunk license server.

The command I've run is: ./splunk edit licenser-localslave -master_uri https://x.x.x.x:8089

This is correct... right?

Hey

Something is not entirely clear here. You have an indexer and you want it to be a license slave of another Server which happens to be a license master, is that it?

If so, then you are correct, that is the command. Just make sure 8089 is the management port of the Splunk License Master

Okay. Thank you very much for this. Looks like it is connecting at the moment. Without going into details:

Error was caused by the search head not attaching to the license server. Need to fix it.
