Hi muizash,
when you speak of launch.conf are you meaning splunk-launch.conf?
If yes, it must be on every Splunk server and it's located in $SPLUNK_HOME/etc.

Ciao.

Hi muizash,
all the Splunk servers are the same installation but having different roles, this means that splunk-launch.conf is in the same position in all instances.
Anyway, follow the Splunk documentation (e.g. https://docs.splunk.com/Documentation/Splunk/7.3.2/Admin/ConfigureSplunkforproxy ) to understand what to set to use a proxy server.

Ciao.
