Is there any way to find out that my sourcetype is reading props?
does it have any logs to check that whats all props my sourcetype is leveraging

To be that guy, sourcetypes don't read props. Splunk reads props and applies them to sourcetypes.
To see what props will be applied to a given sourcetype, use btool. splunk btool --debug props list *sourcetype*.
