I want to create a panel that will take input from a dropdown and also the slider (just like we have one in a shopping app to adjust price of product in range).Can anyone suggest how to proceed?

This can only be attained by using HTML. Consider using jquery and jquery-ui. Convert the dashboard to HTML and add the slider. The information about slider can be found here:
