How do I set up to subscribe to a specific person's answers?

I've subscribed to people who have been answering questions I never thought of before.
What should I do with the new site?

You can do this with RSS. Get the user-id number from their profile and go to:
https://community.splunk.com/t5/forums/recentpostspage/post-type/message/user-id/<user-id> 

Then click Options->Subscribe to RSS feed. Or, you can go directly to:
https://community.splunk.com/oqeym24965/rss/tracker?user.id=<user-id>

Example: 
https://community.splunk.com/t5/forums/recentpostspage/post-type/message/user-id/184221
https://community.splunk.com/oqeym24965/rss/tracker?user.id=184221

Can't I make it appear in the notification feed?

I wish there was a way to subscribe to the user.

Hi,

Such "Follow user" functionality currently does not exist on the Khoros Community platform. An idea exists to get this added though, you might want to show your support at "Subscribe/Follow to a User Profile"
