I am trying to create app in deployment server through bin directory i am getting the following error:

when i am trying to create new app in deployment server through bin directory i am getting the following error

An error occurred: Could not create Splunk settings directory at '/root/.splunk'

we recently upgraded to 9.0.0 could you please provide me best solution to resolve this .

Yes we are using default certificate
