how to change timeline online on a report/dashboard

Hi,
I'm trying to see how to be able to change online the timeline we display on a report without having to edit the results and recreate a new report.
It will be similar to Cacti graph on which we can zoom in/out on a part of the graph

I didn't found anything with sideview app.

All the latest versions of Splunk have this capability built into the standard dashboards (even simple XML).
