add a link to a dashboard in splunk search app

Hi All,

I have a dashboard with highly imp info that needs to be seen by every user.Im looking for an option to add the link of the dashboard  in the search app in between search bar and search history.How do I do this.Thanks

Splunk obfuscates their dashboard code so I believe you'll not be able to "tweak" default.xml successfully.

Modifying the Search & Reporting app is not trivial, if it can be done at all.

I recommend making your dashboard the default dashboard for all users so they all see it when they sign in.

Hi @richgalloway  We have a use case  not to put this as default home dashboard and strictly want to setup a link under search app.Can  tweaking default.xml would help ??
