Will the Dashboard Examples app work on Splunk 6.1?

Can you please let us know whether this app will work on Splunk 6.1? is there any major issue if we use this on splunk 6.1?

I am talking about following app: Splunk Dashboard Examples version 5.0.

Well it says Splunk Version 5.0 ... You have to try it. Whats wrong anout using the 6.x version?

This 6.x version has simple xml dashboard. I want advance xml dashboard examples.

Advanced XML is still part of the product, and is not listed as a deprecated feature. But Splunk is continuing to develop the features and capabilities of simple XML to address more of the common use cases that formerly required advanced XML. If the current features of simple XML don't meet your needs, you can still use advanced XML. The Web Framework gives you the ability to convert your dashboards to HTML and JavaScript to add custom interactivity, if you prefer to develop that way.

Advanced XML is a legacy technology. The focus now is on simple XML and the Web Framework. But it's not yet a deprecated feature.
