Dashboards & Visualizations

How to make the radio button selection appear in a search box field in a dashboard?

Hi all,

I have created a dashboard with a search parameter that grabs fields as per the chosen radio button. However, I want to make this a little user friendly so that the chosen field can display in either the Search Field or Search Panel Name.

Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks.

@jithinmathew,

Try this . I have added to search box as well as to the heading of a table visualization

<form>
  <label>Radio Button</label>
  <fieldset submitButton="false">
    <input type="radio" token="searchfilter">
      <label>Search Filter</label>
      <choice value="CAC">CAC</choice>
      <choice value="BAN">BAN</choice>
      <choice value="ServiceID">ServiceID</choice>
    </input>
    <input type="text" token="searchbox">
      <label>Search Box</label>
      <default>$searchfilter$</default>
      <initialValue>$searchfilter$</initialValue>
    </input>
  </fieldset>
  <row>
    <panel>
      <title>Value from Search Filter : $searchfilter$</title>
      <table>
        <search>
          <query>|makeresults count=5</query>
          <earliest>-15m</earliest>
          <latest>now</latest>
        </search>
        <option name="drilldown">none</option>
      </table>
    </panel>
  </row>
</form>
