Hi vijaykumartcs,
if you download and install Splunk 6.0 Dashboard Examples App (https://splunkbase.splunk.com/app/1603/), there is an example for your need.
Every way, you have to insert in your primary dashboard, at the end of your <single> tag, the following lines

<drilldown>
   <link>secondary_dashboard?os=Linux&amp;TimeFrom=$Time.earliest$&amp;TimeTo=$Time.latest$</link>
</drilldown>

eventually inserting tokens (e.g. os=Linux) and time range.
And insert your token $os$ $TimeFrom$ and $TimeTo$ in the secondary dashboard's searches .

Beware that tokens are case sensitive.
To use tokens see https://www.google.it/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=web&cd=1&cad=rja&uact=8&ved=0ahUKEwjtjd7VpJTSA...

Bye.
Giuseppe
