How to change the color of the line based on the values in a line chart?

Hi all,

I have a line chart, and what I would like to do, is to change the color of the line based on the values, for example:

<500 - Green, 500-999 - Yellow, >=1000 – Red

So the line might have multiple colors depending on the value of the data it is displaying.

Is this possible?

Thanks in advance

Best regards

That would not be native for the usual viz's. Since the color of a line represents what series is being displayed, it would confuse interpretation of a normal viz.

You can achieve somewhat the same effect with a stacked bar chart, by dividing the field up into one field for each range, assigning the value to the correct field, and then stacking them in the output (only one would have a number in it at a given time, the others beign null.)
