Dashboard js css Issue

I putted the .js and .css file to /opt/splunk/etc/apps/search/appserver/static

but when load the dashboard the style is not working.

What's the problem

You will need to restart splunk for these to be recognized by splunkd.

A quick test to check that your js/css/static file is available:

http://<splunk_hostname>:<splunk_port>/static/app/<app_name>/<file_name>;

The next step would be to check the browser console for any errors.
