Can Searches be shared between users viewing the same dashboard

Hi folks,

As the question states I have a dashboard pulling up stats in near real time for the past say 5 minutes, is there a way to index this search and have all users viewing the dash use that result set, instead of each of them executing the searches under their own user?

The only thing I found so far is to use saved searches, but my problem here is the dashboards have a few drop downs that populate values for the dash search queries how do I then get around this? Is there a way to save what is searched by the panel and anyone executing a similar search pulls from that data set instead of running a new one?
