What's up, Community nerds! Have you heard the latest .conf news?? Our biggest annual customer and partner event is moving from October to June! This year, .conf22 will take place June 13th through the 16th both in-person in Las Vegas and online as a virtual event. That's right... we're going fully hybrid, baby!
It's no secret that you, our customers and community members, are at the heart of everything we do, and our commitment to helping you all be data heroes remains unwavering. We've been so excited to reconnect, both in-person and online, and moving the .conf event to June helps us connect with you all, and helps you all connect with each other, much earlier in the year. We already have so much on deck including new products, apps, add-ons, use cases, and more. Believe me... we're bringing all of the .conf goodness and excitement, so mark those calendars and prepare for the best .conf event yet!
Where can I find more information on .conf22?
The first and best place for .conf22 information will always be the .conf website. For some specifics about this year's .conf event and the changes, you can read this stellar post from Kathleen. And we have an incredible HYBRID event planned, so you can attend in-person in Las Vegas or online with Virtual .conf22!
What about the Call for Speakers? (June is coming up fast!)
We hear that! This year's Call for Speakers will open very soon, and we'll share the news and details far and wide (and here, on the Community blog, too). So start getting your fab submission ideas ready, because CFS will open is just a few short days!
Will this impact any other Splunk or Community events?
Yes and no; yes, in the sense that some planned events may shift, but no, in the sense that everything you've come to expect from our community you can absolutely continue to count on. BSides will be a fabulous part of the .conf22 experience now, and other favorites like our World User Group Week and our SplunkTrust Summit will be organized later this year.
So get excited! Get those breakout submissions ready! And get set to join us in-person or online in June! And shout out any questions below!
