Hi,
I have install Splunk on RHEL 6. I am able to start Splunk successful. But not getting the login page.
I have also disable Selinux, stopped firewall policy, but still unable to get the login page.
Please assist.
Might be Your company blocking that port. That's why you are unable to get the login page.
Are you putting ":8000" at the end of your server/workstation IP address?
Yes,I want to check this whether he is using the correct port or not.The splunk service restart command gives us web url with port number.
Can you paste the output for splunk restart command?

I m using URL as below.
http://clientmachine:8000 OR mine server as below
http://192.168.31.251:8000
once i hit enter i get below url in my browser but page is not being displayed.
http://192.168.31.251:8000/en-US/account/login?return_to=%2Fen-US%2F
Please assist.
