How to find the Device Identifier for my mobile device ?

I believe to send iOS notifications we need to use authentication tokens for the device but where do I get the device identifier ?? . It says in the documentation that the first time the user logs in after changing the auth-token it will ask for an email address to send the details to but where is the email being sent ?? or is it ??

Any ideas ???

Hi:

In the latest version, v2.1, the feature of auth-token is deprecated, so is the Splunk Mobile Access Server. The Splunk Add-on for Mobile Access is different from the Splunk Mobile Access Server. Now the device identifier is transparent to the Splunk users. That's to say , the Splunk Mobile App will upload the device identifier to the Splunk, and the Splunk Add-on for Mobile Access will retrieve the identifier to send push notifications to device.
