what kind of account / license we need for AppDynamics Lite

Hi,

I have upgraded AppDynamics to the latest version - and stopped to get any information from the agent.

I see a lot of messages like account expired and license expired. Yes, my lic file is from evaluation I did about a year ago - but I was told that it downgrade to Lite itself nicely (and it was so until I got that idea to upgrade the environment).

I see the agent started succesfully :

[Thread-0] 16 Apr 2015 15:15:37,638 INFO JavaAgent - Started AppDynamics Java Agent Successfully.

Any idea what to check? See the logs atatched.

Thanks,

Alex

Hi Alex,

We might need to update manually from Controller admin UI ( http://slc02ust:8090/controller/admin.jsp  provide root password and update in customer1 account edit screen) after going through the following details:

Can you provide the following details to assist you further:

a) Screenshot from Setup -> License screen from controller UI ,

b) Value for expirationDate field in license.lic file at path C:\AppDynamics\Controller\

c) Screenshot from contoller admin UI with customer1 in edit mode to see what is the current expiry date in admin UI and account type field value state to see if it is set to LITE or not automatically.

Regards,

Arun
