.net Machine agent & monitor extension

Hi,

I've develop a javascript to monitor Siteminder and run it on a java Machine agent extension.

1 - Is it possible to execute this script also with .Net Machine Agent? I suppose no.

2 - The only solution is install an additional stand alone machine agent (java) on a Windows/IIS Server (where I have already a .net machine agent), correct? This will consume an additional machine agent, right?

Hi Alamo,

As of now we do not support extensions with .net agent, our team is working on this to be included.

If you already have a .net agent installed on a machine, we recommend you not to install machine agent on Windows/IIS server as .net agent comes with an in-built Machine agent.

Gunjan.

Hi,

Have you managed to do that? I would like to use UrlMonitor extension on the server where .NET Agent is installed. How can I do this?

With standalone agent it is very simple, just to put it into /monitors/ folder. But how should I act with .NET Machine Agent?

P.S. Is it possible to switch off .NET machine agent, but keep using .NET app agent. And install standalone Machine Agent (install it as a service)?

Many Thanks,

Vadims
