When upgrading controller from 3.9.2 to 3.9.4 with settings suited for huge (extra large + ) we found that db.cnf special settings for huge db was not propagated - had to fetch the copy from backup.

just to inform if anyone follow the similar steps.

Hi Ole,

We see the custom config changes might be lost and this could be the reason we suggested to take backup of db.cnf as well in docs refer point-4 at https://docs.appdynamics.com/display/PRO13S/Upgrade+the+Controller#UpgradetheController-Toupgradethe... , Hope that clarifies.

Regards,

Arun
