Windows Performance Counters

I am trying to monitor IIS  Connection Pool statistics. So wanted to add the Windows Performance Counters using App Dynamics Extension Manager,

I am having two issues.

1. Not able to install "AppDynamics Extension Service", attaching the screen shot of the error message.

2. AppDynamics Extension Performance Counter Configuation - Not able to get any configuraton for .NET Data Provider for Oracle. When I select that option I am not getting any Performance Counter Name to select. I am attaching screen shot of this as well.

Any help on this greatly appreciated.

The first things I would try

1.  Make sure the EXE isn't blocked

2.  Run it as administrator

Additionally, you may want to check out this blog post:  https://blog.appdynamics.com/database/monitoring-ado-net-performance/

Thank you so much for the response. Unblock option helped me install the Service. Most of our apps are using Managed Data Driver for Oracle Data Provider for .NET and the Performance Counter is not showing them in the list of instances to pick from. It only shows the instances that use Unmanaged Data Driver.

Any idea how to make monitor the Managed ODP.NET?

Attached the screen shot.

It is most likely that the driver needs to have the metric counters enabled

Also note, for this use case, you could also use our .NET agent since it supports the perfmon metric reporting.
