Web browser agent download wizard fails

I'm trying to try out the web browser agent.

On the page Web Browser Agent Download Wizard: Step 1 of 2

I create a new application or select an existing application. 

The page says the following and never completes/goes to next step.

Getting EUM app key...

Hi,

Can you provide screenshot depicting the issue and server.log under <Controller_dir>/logs path to debug further?

I'm connected to the SAAS trial controller. Not sure how to get to the log files.

Hi,

Can you provide the Saas URL details Or compnay name so that we will try to see the behavior in live to debug further?

Also please create and share test user login details having enough permissions to use download wizard with us , we see the user comes with portal site to login saas URL will not have such permission by default, keep us posted requested details to debug further.

Also can you re-login from different browser if after clearing browser cache in same browser you still see hang issue in EUM config and try to download the same web browser agent as referred in screenshots listed below which is like same script referred in wizard section and see if that helps:

I tried with both Chrome 38.0.2125.111 and Safari Version 7.1 (9537.85.10.17.1) on a mac

The url is 

https://CoreLogic502.saas.appdynamics.com:443/controller

I created user:akumar password:password

Hi,

Thanks for login details and we see the issue using loging details provided and we see you are hitting a known bug on your saas instance which is on paid96 and our experts team is already working on high priority internal bug on this for further plan of action. Please be sure that the issue in allocating EUM key getting timedout is affecting only saas instances on paid96 instance only. Hope that information helps.

I also have this issue of the Agent Download Wizard hanging on "Getting EUM app key."  I noticed also that the url for my account was "paid96.saas.appdynamics.com"  Are you saying the solution is to delete my account and create a new one?  If so, how do I do that?

Hi ,

One workaround for time being is to request to provision saas trial controller again on another physical instance which is "NOT" paid96. The other option is to wait for the patch release next to latest release of 3.9.5 version, Hope that clarifies.

Hi, it's been a while now.  I just tried the Agent download wizard but it still hangs on "Getting EUM app key."  My trial has run out and I wasn't able to try it because of this issue.  Any idea when this will be fixed?

Hi James,

We sincerely apologize for the incovenience caused this issue is already fixed on version 3.9.5.2 , since the paid96 is still not upgraded to fix version for this instance hence the issue, Howerver as we stated once the insance is upgraded the issue should resolve. Please feel free to subscribe to trial version to monitor EUM on other instances or using onPremise controller trial version.
