Tracing issues by txn and pc name

Is there a way to drill down to find a user's transaction by his user name or can you find a pc/IP that experience a problem for example slow response? Will I be able to see it from a server or even component level.

Hi Laurent,

Thanks for writing in. We assume that username is available by configuring data collectors(http, method etc) , if this the case, you might need to configure data collectors as per docs: http://docs.appdynamics.com/display/PRO13S/Configure+Data+Collectors , so that you search the BT with particular data collectors(http param, cookie nam/value, method collector etc) as referred in attached screenshots

Regarding the other query, you can search by IP and EUM browser snapshots having slow user experience as referred in attached screenshots , refer docs for more information on browser snapshots :
http://docs.appdynamics.com/display/PRO13S/Browser+Snapshots
http://docs.appdynamics.com/display/PRO13S/Add+Information+to+a+Browser+Snapshot

let us know if that helps. Do write back to us for further assistance.

Thanks,

Arun
