Hi,

I am trying to install dotNet 4.1 agent on Windows 2003 server machine with Administrative previleges but I am getting error as Requested Registry accesss is not allowed while launching configure dotNet agent wizard.

I am getting same error for dotNet Agent 4.0 and 3.9 as well.

Please help to resolve this problem.

We haven't installed any agents on our Windows Server 2003 servers, however you might check your Remote Registry service.  Even though it sounds like you are installing the agent locally, this service can cause some grief if it is not running.

Thanks for your reply,

As you mentioned in your reply, we checked the Remote Registry service which was in Started state.

We tried to re-install the agent but we are still getting same error.

Please suggest solution for this.
