Not able to login with root user

I have installed the latest on premise version. But I am not able to login as a root. As a matter of fact, i dont recall configuring it during installation. How do you retrieve the root account's information?

UPDATE: I have updated the root password using the the mysql database using the instructions, but I am still not able to login to the controller.

hi Asif, i hope you are trying to login with user name admin and the password that you provided during intial installation or the new one that you changed to if that is the case.
