hi,

we need to install several agents on several servers, the agent belong the same application and the same tier,

is it possibile to copy the same agent library to the servers and overwrite the node name with the system property -Dappdynamics.agent.nodeName, does it work?

our IT team say that it's more convenient manner compare to download all the agents and install each one.

thanks

Hi,

If all servers/Jvms are on same physical machine having single agent directory should also suffice given that you are passing dynamic/unique node name using -D jvm arg you stated that is picked by each JVM on startup, hope that answers your query.
