Hello,

We are trying to install the MongoDB Agent and getting the follow error in the logs:

java.lang.illegalArgumentException: can't handle non-ascii passwords yet.

The password is only about 12 characters, no non-ascii passwords in it. I also tried a simple admin123.....but still no luck.

I also started with a fresh monitor.xml file, to make sure that the file was corrupted, but no luck.

Has anyone else seen this?

Here is the monitor.xml

Are you editing the monitor.xml in windows and uploading it to a unix box?

Can you open the file in vi and see if you see any miscreants?

Thanks,

Kunal
