License file for AD LITE

Hi All,

I am certain this has been answered/other community members have received assistance previously.

I have just installed AD on a Windows server for demonstration/educational purposes (completing the ACIP certification in the next couple of weeks) however my trial period expired and I cannot download a copy of the "license.lic" file required.

Appreciated if one of the AD employees/experts could provide me with assistance in getting a copy of the file.

I have attempted sending sales a message but have not heard back as of yet.

Cheers

Z

I have identified that if going to Appdynamics, then into your account subscription, the link to the controller works correctly through there for SaaS instance.

Can nobody assist in providing a copy of my license.lic file for my On-Prem controller instance?

I also attempted to start a Trial SaaS deployment.

I received the email with instructions to log into my instance, here is an excerpt from the instructional email to access the SaaS controller:

To get started, log into your AppDynamics Pro SaaS Trial using the instructions below:

  1. Go to your SaaS URL: <URL redacted>
  2. Log in with the following credentials:
    Account Name: <account name redacted>

After clicking "Login", you'll be redirected to AppDynamics.com to enter your AppDynamics credentials. If you're already logged into AppDynamics.com, you'll automatically be redirected to the Getting Started Wizard.

After completing item 2, regardless of being logged in or having to log in, it takes me directly to AppDynamics.com but it does not provide me with any wizards, just the standard AppDynamics.com site.

I have tried different browsers but to no avail.

Is this normal behavior?

So far have had no luck with either On-prem install (licensing issue), or with SaaS in that the instructions to log into the SaaS controller appear to be incorrect or fail for an unknown reason.

Appreciate any help provided, I'm getting desperate as I have the ACIP course next week and would like to get a head start.

I also don't want to hijack another users thread where an employee has offered assistance.
