All of my information points were working with the folllowing versions...

Server Agent v3.4.2.0 GA #2012-05-21_11-30-39 r34305 44
Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM 1.6.0_04 Sun Microsystems Inc.

I had 4 identical linux servers with this configuration.

I recently introduced 4 more linux servers...with upgraded OS and JVM and Agent.  Majority, but not all, of my information points stopped working.

New configuration is

Server Agent v4.0.3.0 GA #2015-03-09_15-23-04 r433d533175a2fcf7c0b7eb4142446092f54c71e7 5-4.0.3.next
Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM 1.8.0_71 Oracle Corporation

Restarted the agent on the new servers and still showing 0 for calls and other metrics.

What can I do to troubleshoot?

HI, As you mentioned, information points stopped working after you upgraded to 4.0 version, so the question here is have upgraded your controller as well to 4.0 or you are still using old controller version? If you have upgraded your controller as well then you can check whether the class and method that you have configured in information point is getting called or not. You can check it in transaction snapshot call graphs. Regards, Prathamesh

also, looking at the transactions in appdynamics, I can see that my package/class/method is being called.

Check whether Information points are enbled and also check the configuration of existing information points.

If evething is in place then you have to define information poits again.

Our controller version is:

AppDynamics Version 4.1.8.7, build 52

I'm certain the packages and methods are the same on each server.
