How to download .Net agent without internet connection

Hi there. I have a computer in a firewalled lab with no internet connection.  I have downloaded and installed the trial there and want to monitor a .net application.  The administration page wants to connect to the internet to download the .Net agent, but that obviously won't work.

I would just like to use a separate computer attached to the internet to do the download, but I can't seem to find an external download link. For example, if I try to go this page:

http://download.appdynamics.com/

It says I am not authorized to view that page.  Can someone tell me how I can download that agent?

Hi Daniel,

Could you please provide the following details -

1. Have you downloaded the lite version or the pro viersion

2. Did you sign up while downloading the trial version. What email id did you provide while signing up.

Thanks,

Vishnu

1. Lite version

2. Yes I signed up.  I don't want tp publish my email publicly but you surely you can look at the email address associated with my account?  If not, I can IM it to you.

I actually managed to download it by installing the software on a separate computer with an internet connection and then transferring it to the other target computer that had no internet connection.  However, if you could provide an answer to the original question, it may help someone else in the future.

Hi daniel,

There is no seperate installer for .Net agent for lite version. Lite installer itself consists of Agent & controller packaged. Can you please send us the screenshot from where you are trying to download the agent?

When I launch the controller page immediately after installing, this is what I get:

(It appears like there are no agents installed but if I'm mistaken, please let me know)

When I click on the "Agent Download Wizard" tab, and choose ".Net" on the first screen and then "64-bit" on the second screen, I eventually get to a screen like this with a "click here to download" button which fails because I have no internet connection:

Hi Daniel,

From the screenshot, we can confirm that you have installed Pro Trial version and  NOT the Lite version. We also see that you have not configured any applications for monitoring. For the Pro Trial version, you would need to run the appdynamics confiugration wizard to configure IIS applications that you want to monitor and give sufficient load to the application so that you can see the metrics on the controller.

You can find the configuration wizard here - Start -> All Programs -> Appdynamics -> .NET Agent -> Agent Configuration Wizard

Thanks,

Vishnu

Ah, my mistake, sorry about that.  For some reason I thought Lite meant Trial - I was mis-associating these.

I guess my question is related to the Pro-version then, so this thread is in the wrong forum.

Like I said, I did manage to get an agent working (by downloading on a separate computer) and configure an application for monitoring.  The screenshot is from a fresh install for illustrative purposes.
