Hotspot snapshots disabled: Controller version is not >= 3.3.4

Business Transactions outside of the wl/deployment aren't displaying, but are still being logged. My agent's log files continually give this message

INFO HotspotConfig - Hotspot snapshots disabled: controller version is not >= 3.3.4

Any Ideas why or how to fix this?

Hi,

Thanks for writing in. You can ignore the message "INFO HotspotConfig - Hotspot snapshots disabled: controller version is not >= 3.3.4" and this is at INFO level and we confirm this message will not affect any BT detection.

Regarding the other query, Can you please elaborate the query "Business Transactions outside of the wl/deployment aren't displaying, but are still being logged"

If you have configured lite agent on weblogic server (server1/jvm1)using lite agent and you have an webapp deployed on weblogic server (say: myapp) and say you have accessed a order servlet on myapp (say: localhost:7001/myapp/orderServlet?orderId=10) request at browser and say if that request processed at weblogic server is also making internal request(say: ws calls) to other server2 (JVM2) then using lite version of the produt you might not see the call graph or BT or any performace data in other server. However you should see webservice backend calls in this case still.

The reason is Lite version can only monitor one server/jvm , but you should see the backend calls if any as part of flow view in overview section in lite. Let us know if this is the case

Do write back to us for further assistance.

Thanks,

Arun
