I am trying to filter http code 404. I tried following the provided documentation but I have hard time finding the configuration menu item to access and set the rule as described. How do I do this ?

Hi Patrick, After selecting an application, in the left navigation bar click Configuration -> then Error Detection -> Error Detection using HTTP return codes. See attached screeshot. To exclude a return code add them to the error detection list by creating a custom error code range and then disabling that error code by clearing its Enabled checkbox. This in effect excludes the error code as an error indicator. https://docs.appdynamics.com/display/PRO42/Configure+Error+Detection Regards, Saradhi
