Detection of ActiveMQ as a Message Server type - failing

Hi there,

We're just giving AD a try on a delivery system project we have going.  One of the nodes in our infrastructure is an ActiveMQ server. However AD refuses to recognise it as a Message Server.  Is there any way to force AD to recognise the node as this type?

Thanks,

tom

 Hi Tom,

Thanks for writing in. Please refer attached screenshot for steps to create a tier of type "messaging server" and you can associated your node under the tier created of particular type  (provide the same tier-name, application-name in the agent/node config to register under the tier created) as referred in attached screenshot,

refer docs: http://docs.appdynamics.com/display/PRO13S/Creating+New+Tiers

Let us know if that helps.

Thanks,

Arun
