There is an article about setting up custom correlation for Java: https://community.appdynamics.com/t5/Knowledge-Base/Custom-Correlation/ta-p/18775

Does anyone know if the same can be done for .NET?

Hi,

The custom correlation principle is same for .Net Agents also. Please let us know a few more details of your requirement on custom correlation where you want to apply it.

Thanks,

Venu.

I added a note to the KB article that this information is the same for .NET agents. If there is additional information we can provide, or if we should create a separate article for .NET instructions, please let me know.

I've managed to make it work with help from support.

The main difference from the Java examples in the KB articles is that the configuration goes under the <app-agents> section of the agent config.xml file, not in its own custom-activity-correlation.xml file as mentioned in the KB articles.

Awesome, thanks @Anonymous, I'll add that to the KB article as well.
