Confirmed, you can´t change the account name.

I tried, creating a new account and appears this message

"Users will login to the application by entering their Account Name.
This should be relatively short and contain NO SPACES.
Account Name CANNOT BE CHANGED."

Regards.

Hi Wasim,

You can do following if that make sense to you:

- login controller admin UI /controller/admin.jsp and under Conrtroller settings -> search tenant change from flag for property single tenant mode true/false to change from single tenant to multi tenant , refer property multitenant.controller and save changes

- now under controller admin UI Accounts screeen, you could create new account as per your requirement and the agents would need to use the new account name and access key details provided if any agent want to associate business apps under this account instead default account customer1

Check if that is what you are looking for, refer doc https://docs.appdynamics.com/display/PRO40/Controller+Tenant+Mode

Arun

Hi Wasim,

User will have option to provide customized default account name when he selected install tenant option as multii tenant node during installation of controller , but for single tenant option we cannot customize or the installer will give such option, Hope that answers your query.

Arun

Hello.

I think you can´t do that.

you can see the main accounts (customer1 and system), you have to login as root on:

http://Controller_name_or_DNS_or_IP:port/controller/admin.jsp

Then, you select Accounts.

Regards.
